HOMEMADE CREAM CARAMEL

ingredients
- milk 450ml
- sugar 45g
- vanilla essence
- eggs 3
- sugar 100g
- water 60ml

method
- Gently boil 100g of sugar with 60 ml of the water until it is golden in color
- pouring the caramel mix into bowl and set aside
- whisk eggs sugar and vanilla essence together
- add warm milk into eggs mix and mix it
- strain the custard into caramel base bowl
- place bowl into a deep baking tray and fill the tray with hot water
- bake in the oven at 180c for approximately 30 to 45 minutes until set
- chill in the refrigerator
- loosen edges of caramels and turn them out onto serving dishes
